Wusora wants everyone to be able to register, follow an event and run one, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we aim for, where we know we fall short and how to reach us.
What we aim for
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, across the public site, registration forms, the competitor portal, live results and the organizer dashboard.
- Pages that work with a keyboard alone and with screen readers
- Text and controls with enough contrast, and pages that still work when zoomed to 200%
- Labels on every form field, and errors that say what to fix
- Layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops
- Motion that respects your device's reduce-motion setting
Where we know we fall short
Some parts are harder to make fully accessible, and we are still working on them:
- Live scoreboards and venue screens update quickly and are designed to be seen across a room
- Interactive demos on the marketing site are visual previews; the same features are described in text on each page
- Photos, logos and documents uploaded by organizers may not have text descriptions
- Pages an organizer customises (colours, images, wording) are their responsibility to keep readable, and we give them tools to preview and check contrast
Events run by organizers
Each event is run by its organizer, not by Wusora. For help at the venue, such as seating, access or assistance during check-in, contact the organizer listed on the event page. If an event page or form itself is hard to use, tell us as well and we will work with the organizer to fix it.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Wusora is hard to use, email support@wusora.com with the page address and what happened. We reply within 5 business days, and if you need to register before a deadline we will help you do it another way, such as by email or phone.
Changes
We review this statement as the product changes and update the date at the top of the page.
